Nader SIL-Certified Air Circuit Breakers Lead a New Transformation in Electrical Safety

By:Nader Updated:January 01,2026 20:16PM

Recently, Nader’s SIL-certified air circuit breakers have successfully obtained SIL2 Safety Integrity Level certification, covering three series: NDW3 (SIL), NDW2 (SIL), and NDW1A (SIL).

Building upon the traditional functions of overload and short-circuit protection, SIL-certified products leverage internationally recognized certifications and advanced technologies to establish a dual-layer safety protection system for critical industrial applications. As a globally acknowledged functional safety standard, SIL certification helps enterprises overcome technical barriers in international trade and accelerates their expansion into global markets.

The SIL (Safety Integrity Level) certification system strictly follows the international standard IEC 61508, classifying safety integrity into four levels, SIL1 to SIL4, to quantitatively assess product safety performance through precisely defined failure probability metrics.

Among them, SIL2 requires that the PFH (Probability of Failure per Hour) under hazardous operating conditions be controlled within the range of 10⁻⁷ to 10⁻⁶ per hour, equivalent to one in ten million (0.0000001) to one in one million (0.000001).

Nader’s SIL-certified products have, for the first time, achieved an MTTFd (Mean Time To Dangerous Failure) of 287 years, with a PFH of 2.29 × 10⁻⁷ (i.e., 2.29 per ten million, or 0.229 per one million).

Nader SIL2-certified products offer significant advantages over traditional circuit breakers. The intelligent diagnostic system enables millisecond-level fault response through high-frequency scanning, increasing fault identification speed by 50%. With an optimized system architecture, intelligent algorithms reduce the need for redundant circuits, lowering system complexity by more than 30%, saving 15% of installation space, and supporting modular expansion.

This series also integrates a composite protection architecture, accelerating fault response by 30%. It features intelligent connectivity for remote monitoring and early warning, and adopts a compact design that reduces overall size by 15%. These technological innovations simplify system design, shorten approval cycles, and reduce overall costs.

With multiple core technology upgrades, Nader’s SIL-certified products comprehensively outperform traditional circuit breakers, delivering enhanced safety performance and greater cost efficiency for users.

Nader SIL-certified products fill a critical technological gap in the industry, establish a benchmark for safety circuit breaker technology, and provide a new option for the domestic, independent supply of high-end circuit breakers. Each SIL-certified product is marked with a “SIL2” label, and its SIL2 certification information can be accessed via a QR code. Users can verify the authenticity through the official platform of the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China (CNCA), effectively eliminating the risk of invalid or non-genuine certificates.

In addition, SIL-certified products are precisely tailored to serve key sectors such as petrochemicals, energy production, rail transit, and intelligent manufacturing. They help build safe and reliable power supply systems for smart manufacturing, enhancing production continuity.

Building on the technological foundation of its SIL-certified product portfolio, Nader will continue to anchor its development around SIL safety standards, further advancing modular and intelligent technology iterations. By deeply integrating edge computing with energy management, Nader aims to establish a more precise energy efficiency regulation system along the dual-carbon pathway.

Looking ahead, Nader is committed to working hand in hand with industry partners, ensuring that every flow of electricity becomes a decisive step toward low-carbon transformation, and jointly shaping a new industry future where safety and efficiency coexist.
