General small air switch specifications are mainly divided into 6A, 10A, 16A, 20A, 25A, 32A, 40A, 50A, 63A, 80A, 100A, etc. by rated current;

In order to ensure safety and reliability, the rated operating current of electrical components should generally be greater than 2 times the required maximum load current; in addition, when designing and selecting electrical components, the possibility of future increase in electrical load should be considered, and reserve for future demand There is margin. The current rating of the air switch is generally greater than or equal to the rated current value of the load, and the rated current value of the line should be greater than the rated current value of the air switch. If the switch current is too small, it will malfunction, and the load may trip if it moves together. The switch current is too large, the load has a problem, can the switch trip in time, if the current carrying capacity of the wire is less than the value of the switch, it will cause the wire to burn out, the switch will not trip, and the wire is too thick and will cause waste. It is not necessary. So it is necessary to calculate the load current first, then calculate the line diameter, and finally determine the capacity of the switch;

The switch should be greater than the current of the load, and the current carrying capacity of the wire should be greater than the rated current of the switch.
